A Room with a View

Based on E. M. Forster’s 1908 novel of the same name, the film closely follows the novel by use of the chapter titles to section the film into thematic segments. In this, Lucy Honeychurch (Helena Bonham-Carter),a young Englishwoman, is touring Italy with her older cousin (Maggie Smith). Here, Lucy meets the charming and free-spirited George Emerson (Julian Sands) and develops love for him. Once back in England, how will her experiences in Tuscany affect her marriage plans?
