The Hunger Games: Catching Fire started when Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark safely return home after winning the 74th Hunger Game. This victory means that they have to leave family and friends behind to hit the road and join “The trip of the winners” with other districts. In the process, Katniss senses an impending rebellion, but Capitol still holding power when President Snow is preparing for the next 75th Hunger Game (The Quarter quell) - the fight will change Panem destiny forever.
